What is aldrete skoru?

Aldrete Score is a standardized tool used to evaluate a patient's recovery from anesthesia. It measures five parameters, including respiratory status, blood pressure, consciousness, oxygen saturation, and muscular activity. Each parameter is given a score ranging from 0 to 2, with a maximum score of 10. A score of 9 or 10 indicates that the patient is ready for discharge from the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). The Aldrete Score is widely used by nurses and anesthesiologists to assess and ensure the safe recovery of patients from anesthesia.
